If it can be thrown, launched, chucked or tossed, we did it this week during Primitive Projectiles camp! On this adventure-filled journey through time we explored many innovations on projectiles over human history. On Monday we started off throwing rocks, then we moved on to slings, spears, atlatls, tomahawks, and archery as the week went on. After spending lots of time on target practice, we still managed to tell stories, play games, and splash around in the Eno River. We also found a ton of forest and river critters throughout the week, including box turtles, crayfish, insects, minnows, toads, and water snakes. What a great way to kick off the fall season! We hope you enjoy these fun pictures from Primitive Projectiles.
