At Schoolhouse, we strive to teach our campers about the importance of understanding and protecting our natural world. Throughout the week, campers got to learn about local tree species like the Sycamore and Sourwood. Campers got a chance to sample some of the edible leaves and sap from various trees! Our goal is to help foster a deeper appreciation for the forest and create lifelong nature ambassadors. When we weren’t learning about the forest we were cooling off in the river and playing games like Jump the Creek, where campers can see how far they can jump.
