Campers spent the week learning about all the different types of homes that forest animals build themselves. We made birds nests, and dreys constructed on platforms in the forest, and burrows in the ground. After hiking through the park and searching for signs of animals and their abodes, campers made life-size replicas and played in them! Of course, it wouldn’t be a week of camp without some water time in the Eno and some of our signature Schoolhouse of Wonder games like Windigo, Six Feathers, and Storm The Castle! One highlight from this week was the impromptu ukulele jam session that campers and CITs preformed.
